SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria 2026
Applicants should meet the educational qualification and other conditions prescribed for the respective Sub-Inspector post.
- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Delhi Police SI (Male): A valid LMV Driving Licence for motorcycle and car is required on the date of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test.
- CAPF SI: Graduation in any discipline is required.
- CISF SI (Fire): B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics OR 10th pass with a 3-year Diploma in the specified engineering disciplines.
Age Limit
Age will be calculated as on 01 August 2026.
- Delhi Police/CAPF SI: 20 to 25 Years.
- CISF SI (Fire): 18 to 30 Years.
- SC/ST: 5 years upper age relaxation.
- OBC: 3 years upper age relaxation.

SSC CPO Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The recruitment process includes computer-based examinations followed by physical tests and medical examination.
- Paper-I: Computer Based Examination covering Reasoning, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude and English.
- PST/PET: Physical Standard and Physical Endurance Tests for shortlisted candidates.
- Paper-II: Computer Based Examination focused on English Language and Comprehension.
- Medical Examination: Candidates qualifying the written and physical stages undergo Detailed Medical Examination.
