Driver
No. of Posts: 03 [OBC/MOBC:01 & UR:02]
Qualification:
1. Minimum educational qualification is HSLC
Examination passed or equivalent from a recognized Board/Council of Government
of Assam.
2. Candidate must possess a valid Driving License
(Cab).
Scale of Pay: Rs.14,000/- to Rs.49,000/- + GP
Rs.5,200/- + other allowances.
Age: Must not be less than 18 years or and more than
40 years as on 01.01.2020. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 (three) years for
OBC/MOBC and 5 (five) years for SC/ST candidates as per Govt. OM No.
ABP.6/2016/51 dated 02nd September, 2020. The age limit of the
candidate will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/HSLC Admit
Card/Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council and no other document
shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose.

whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in a Written Test
and Driving Skill Test to be held at Guwahati on the date to be notified later
on.
How to Apply Comtax Assam Recruitment
2020
(a) Candidates are the application form and take
print out of it. They need to fill up the form in BLOCK LETTERS with BALL POINT
PEN and after duly signing the application form, they need to submit the same
with relevant documents by post to the Office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Assam, Kar Bhawan, Dispur,
Guwahati-781006 or by hand
in the drop box placed in the Office of the Commissioner of Taxes,
Assam, Kar Bhawan, Dispur, Guwahati-781006. Non receipt of application form due
to postal delay shall not be entertained and all such late applications shall
be rejected. The application is to be submitted in an envelope, on top of which
“Application for the post of Driver” should be super scribed.
(b) Photograph: One copy of recent coloured
photograph should be attached on the application form and another 3 (three)
copies of the same photograph should be submitted separately along with the
documents. The photographs should be of while background and without any spectacles
or cap.
(c) Documents: Self attested photo copies of the
following documents/testimonials are required to be submitted along with the
application form:-
(i) Valid Driving License (Cab) issued by the
Competent Authority.
(ii) Pan Card issued by the Income Tax Authority or
Aadhaar Card issued by UIDAI or Voter ID Card issued by the Electoral
Registration Officer.
(iii) HSLC Certificate, Marks Sheet and Admit Card.
(iv) Certificate of Caste from Competent Authority in
respect of candidates belonging to STP/STH/SC/OBC/MOBC wherever applicable.
(v) Up to date Employment Registration Certificate issued
in the State of Assam.
