1. Chairperson
- No. of posts: 05 (Five)
- Eligibility Criteria: District Judge, or an officer of the State judicial services who is qualified to be appointed as District Judge or a retired District Judge.
- Maximum Age: 66 years as on 1st January of the year of advertisement.
2. Member
- No. of posts: 05 (Five)
- Eligibility Criteria: Psychiatrist (MD or Diploma in Psychiatric Medicine) (Preference to be given to Doctors of Health and Family Welfare (A&B) Deptt., Govt of Assam).
- Maximum Age: 66 years as on 1st January of the year of advertisement.
3. Member
- No. of posts: 05 (Five)
- Eligibility Criteria: Medical Practitioner (Minimum qualification MBBS) (Preference to be given to Doctors of Health and Family Welfare (A&B ) Deptt., Govt of Assam).
- Maximum Age: 66 years as on 1st January of the year of advertisement.
4. Member
- No. of posts: 10 (ten)
- Eligibility Criteria: Two members who shall be Persons with mental illness or care givers OR persons representing organizations of persons with mental illness OR care givers OR NGO working in the field of Mental Health.(minimum experience of 10 years in respective field, where applicable).
- Maximum Age: 66 years as on 1st January of the year of advertisement.
