Social Welfare Tripura Notification 2025

The Government of Tripura, Social Welfare & Social Education Department, Abhoynagar, Agartala, invites applications from eligible candidates with the requisite qualifications in the prescribed format for appointment as Chairpersons and Members of the Child Welfare Committees, and Social Worker Members of the Juvenile Justice Boards for four and three districts of Tripura, respectively. This recruitment is being conducted under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, its Amendment Act, and the Juvenile Justice Rules, 2022.

Chairperson	04	(i) Degree in child psychology, psychiatry, law, social work, sociology, human health, education, human development, medicine, or special education for differently-abled children from a recognized university, AND At least 7 years of involvement in health, education, or welfare activities related to children. OR (ii) Practicing professional with a degree in child psychology, psychiatry, law, social work, sociology, human health, education, human development, or special education for differently-abled children.
Member	13
Social Worker Members	05	Must be a practicing professional with a degree in child psychology, psychiatry, sociology, or law, OR Have at least 7 years of experience in health, education, or welfare activities related to children.
