Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Assam Oil Division, Digboi Refinery has invited online applications from eligible female candidates for admission to B.Sc (Nursing) at Assam Oil College of Nursing (AOCN) and General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) at Assam Oil School of Nursing (AOSN) for the academic session 2026–27.

Both institutes are affiliated with Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Educational Qualification
B.Sc Nursing 10+2 Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Minimum 45% PCB aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
Must pass theory and practical separately in PCB.
NIOS/State Open School candidates are eligible.
GNM 10+2 with English and minimum 40% aggregate (35% for SC/ST).
OR 10+2 with 40% in recognised Vocational ANM / Health Care Science.
OR Registered ANM with pass marks from State Nursing Registration Council.
Entrance Examination Requirement
B.Sc Nursing Valid CEE-2026 Roll Number and Scorecard.
GNM Valid GNMEE-2026 Roll Number and Scorecard.
Eligibility Conditions
  • Age: Minimum 17 years and maximum 35 years as on 31.12.2026.
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL and 5 years for PwBD candidates.
  • ANM Candidates: No upper age limit for registered ANM candidates.
  • Higher Qualification: Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as BE, B.Tech, MBA, CA, CS, CMA, LLB, MCA or Ph.D. are not eligible.
  • Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit.
  • Colour Blindness: Colour-blind candidates may be eligible with prescribed corrective lenses/spectacles.
Selection Process
  • Selection will be based on the CEE-2026/GNMEE-2026 entrance examination score along with applicable income-certificate weightage.
  • Preference will be given to financially underprivileged candidates as per the prescribed criteria.
  • B.Sc Nursing Tie-Breaking: Biology → Chemistry → Physics → English → Class 12 marks.
  • GNM Tie-Breaking: English → General Science → Mathematics → Class 10 marks.
Monthly Stipend
B.Sc Nursing – 1st Year ₹2,800/- per month
B.Sc Nursing – 2nd Year ₹3,000/- per month
B.Sc Nursing – 3rd Year ₹3,200/- per month
B.Sc Nursing – 4th Year ₹3,400/- per month
GNM – 1st Year ₹2,500/- per month
GNM – 2nd Year ₹2,700/- per month
GNM – 3rd Year ₹2,900/- per month
Mandatory Internship
  • After completion of the course, students must undergo a compulsory 1-year working internship at AOD Hospital or another IOCL hospital.
  • B.Sc Nursing Internship Stipend: ₹16,250/- per month.
  • GNM Internship Stipend: ₹15,250/- per month.
  • An additional ₹1,000/- per month may be paid if posted at another IOCL hospital.
  • Accommodation is not provided during the working internship.
