Qualification for PMBI

General Manager (GM): M.Pharma/B.Pharma/B.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry, as applicable; MBA in relevant field is desirable.

Deputy General Manager (DGM): B.Pharma/M.Pharma/B.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/B.Com/M.Com/B.Tech/M.Tech (Computer Science)/MCA, as applicable; relevant MBA/professional qualification is desirable.

Manager: BVSc & AH/B.Pharma/Graduate, as applicable; MBA/M.Pharma/relevant professional qualification is desirable.

Deputy Manager (DM): B.Pharma/B.Tech/M.Tech (Computer Science)/MCA/Graduate, as applicable; M.Pharma/MBA or relevant qualification is desirable.

Assistant Manager (AM): Graduate/B.Pharma/BVSc & AH/B.Com (Hons.)/B.Tech/M.Tech (Computer Science)/MCA/LL.B., as applicable; relevant MBA/M.Pharma/M.Com/LL.M is desirable.

Senior Executive: Graduate/B.Pharma/BVSc & AH/B.Com (Hons.)/LL.B./Graduation in Mass Communication or Journalism, as applicable; relevant postgraduate/professional qualification is desirable.

Senior Marketing Officer: B.Pharma/B.Sc. Biotechnology/Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry; MBA in Sales & Marketing is desirable.

Senior Pharmacist: B.Pharma; M.Pharma is desirable.

Marketing Officer: B.Pharma/B.Sc. Biotechnology/Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry; MBA in Sales & Marketing is desirable.

Pharmacist: B.Pharma; M.Pharma is desirable.

Selection Process

The PMBI selection process consists of three stages:

1. Initial Screening

  • Applications and supporting documents will be checked against the prescribed eligibility criteria.
  • Eligible candidates will be called for the next stage.
2. Written Examination

  • English language writing skills
  • Knowledge of subject matter related to the post
  • General Knowledge
Exam date, time, venue and syllabus will be communicated through email.

3. Personal Interaction-cum-Interview

  • Candidates qualifying in the written examination will be called for the interview.
  • Shortlisting will be based on credentials and interview performance.
  • Appointment will be offered to suitable candidates in order of merit.
Candidates must carry original supporting documents along with one set of photocopies at the time of the interview.

  2. Download the prescribed PMBI application form.
  3. Select the post for which you are eligible.
  4. Fill in the application form completely and correctly.
  5. Attach copies of required educational and experience certificates.
  6. Attach valid age proof such as Matriculation Certificate/Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Passport.
  7. Attach the original Demand Draft of ₹100/- in favour of Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI).
  8. Attach a proper passport-size photograph.
  9. Ensure that the application is submitted in the prescribed format.
