Qualification for UPSC ORA Recruitment
- Educational: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience: He should have been a member of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than thirteen years or has held a superior post in the legal department of a State for a period of not less than thirteen years or a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for not less than thirteen years or is a qualified legal practitioner.
- Educational: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience: He should have been a member of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than thirteen years or has held a superior post in the legal department of a State for a period of not less than thirteen years or a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for not less than thirteen years or is a qualified legal practitioner.
- Educational: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience: He should have been a member of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than seven years or has held a superior post in the legal department of a State for a period of not less than seven years or have been a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for not less than seven years or possesses a Master’s Degree in Law and has had teaching or research experience in Law for not less than five years or is a qualified legal practitioner of not less than 30 years.
- Educational: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience: He should have been a member of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than seven years or has held a superior post in the legal department of a State for a period of not less than seven years or have been a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for not less than seven years or possesses a Master’s Degree in Law and has had teaching or research experience in Law for not less than five years or is a qualified legal practitioner of not less than 30 years.
- Educational: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience: He should have been a member of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than ten years or have held a superior post in the legal department of a State for a period of not less than ten years or have been a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for not less than ten years or possess a Master’s Degree in Law and has had teaching or research experience in Law for not less than eight years or have been a qualified legal practitioner of not less than 35 years.
- Educational: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience: He should have been a member of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than ten years or have held a superior post in the legal department of a State for a period of not less than ten years or have been a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for not less than ten years or possess a Master’s Degree in Law and has had teaching or research experience in Law for not less than eight years or have been a qualified legal practitioner of not less than 35 years.
- Educational: Master’s Degree of a recognized University or Institution in Social Work or Sociology or Economics or Anthropology or Social Anthropology or Applied Anthropology or Statistics or Psychology or Geography or Mathematics (with Statistics).
- Experience: Three years’ experience of conducting survey or research in the field of social welfare including analysis of data and preparation of the reports.

- Upload supporting documents in PDF, ≤1 MB per module, ≤2 MB for “Other Documents,” legible in print.
- Scan at 200 dpi grayscale.
- Do not upload Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment/Relieving letters, or unsigned experience certificates.
- Matriculation/10th certificate for DOB.
- Degree/Diploma certificates (or provisional with mark sheets).
- Equivalence orders for claimed equivalent qualifications.
- Experience certificates in prescribed format, detailing duration, pay, and duties.
- Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC; OBC candidates also submit non-creamy layer declaration.
- Disability certificate for PwBD candidates in prescribed format.
- Any other documentary proof for claims made in the application.
- Rs. 25/- for male Gen/OBC/EWS candidates; payment via SBI branch, net banking, cards, or UPI.
- Exempted: SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates. No partial fee exemption for others.
