NIT Silchar Recruitment Details
1. Post Name: Project Associate-I
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Department: Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Silchar.
- Salary: Rs.37,000/- + HRA.
- Age limit: Upper age limits up to 50 years.
2. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Salary: Rs.25,000 per month.
- Age limit: 28 years.
Eligibility Criteria for NIT Silchar
Project Associate-I
- Essential: B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering/Design & Manufacturing/ Materials Science/Metallurgical & Materials Engineering/Aerospace Engineering/ Chemical & Polymer Engineering/ Plastic Engineering/Polymer Technology. AND selected through NET/ GATE or any national-level exam (DST/DRDO/IISc/IIT/IISER, etc.).
- Desirable: Experience in nanomaterials, CFRP, composite materials, polymer technology, mechanical characterization & fracture mechanics.
2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Essential: M.E./M.Tech. OR B.E./B.Tech. with GATE/NET qualification (first class) in Electrical/Electronics-related streams such as: Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, ECE, CSE, Instrumentation, Telecommunication, Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering.
