Eligibility for MIT Imphal Admission
B.E. 1st Year:
(a) Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for CE and ME Courses
(b) Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and one of the following subjects (Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship) for CSE, ECE and EE Courses.
(c) Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
(d) Preference shall be given to JEE(Main) 2024 positive scored candidates.
B.E. (Lateral Entry to 2nd Year):
(a) Passed Minimum THREE years/TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering. OR
(b) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
M. Tech.:
(a) Passed Bachelor Degree in appropriate branch of engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 60% of marks or First Class.
(b) Preference will be given to those candidates having valid GATE Score.
